Weddings are our speciality at The Grand St Leger Hotel. We pride ourselves on delivering a service which makes us one of Doncaster's premier wedding venues. You will be treated with the individual care and attention to detail that you deserve. Management and staff will personally assist you at every stage until all aspects of your day are arranged; from accommodation to seating plans and menu options.

Civil Wedding Ceremonies & Civil Partnerships

The Grand St Leger Hotel is an approved venue for civil ceremonies; this enables you to hold the Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and the Reception all under one roof. We are only minutes away from the beautiful Elmfield Park, which offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

A charge of £250.00 is applicable for all Civil Ceromonies held at the Grand St Leger Hotel.

Provisional bookings are held for 14 days but couples are advised to contact the Superintendent Registrar for Doncaster immediately to check availability.

The Wedding Reception

We have a choice of Suites available for your wedding reception.

The beautifully appointed Sellinger Suite has its own private bar and holds up to 65 guests for a Wedding Breakfast and up to 90 guests for the evening reception. If you require something more intimate, the chandelier lit Carringtons Suite can accommodate up to 35 guests.


Wedding Packages

Drawing from our years of experience and expertise, we have created five wedding packages designed to give you the very best wedding day. We understand that every wedding is unique. Our wedding co-ordinator will be delighted to discuss your individual requirements and assist you in selecting the best package for you.

  • Floral Arrangements to suit your colour scheme and Top Table Display

The Evening Reception at the Grand St. Leger Hotel

The Evening Reception has established itself as a less expensive yet popular way to invite your additional guests. Please ask to see our choice of evening buffet menus ranging from finger food buffet to a hot and cold buffet, both are popular. Prices range from £9.95 to £15.95 per person.
